Channel Future: What do you see as the most significant trends taking place in cybersecurity?
Tom Turner: There are two key trends we see. One is consolidation and platformization. Our partners are looking to consolidate their cybersecurity stack to fewer vendors, resulting in higher efficiency, better ROI and most importantly improved security posture for their clients. Coro has been at the forefront of this trend, building a platform that covers user, endpoint, network, cloud and data security through a single pane of glass, and using a single endpoint agent. The second trend is the massive growth in cybersecurity needs of the SMB market. It is expected to be a $107 billion market by 2028, representing a 4X growth in the next three years. Using Coro, which was designed from the ground up for the SMB market, we enable our partner to capitalize on this market opportunity.
CF: What does it take to be an effective cybersecurity channel leader?
TT: It all boils down to putting the needs and interests of our partners ahead of our own. My most important job as a channel leader is ensuring our partners business grows, both in net-new customers, as well as in wallet share within their existing customer base. When I see my partners grow and succeed, I know we did a great job.
